~*Recipie for Okonomiyaki for one person!*~ Ingredients: 1/2 cup of flour 45 grams of chicken breast 1/3 cup of water soy sauce a handful of various greens 1 egg dried sweet basil 1/4 of a medium onion ground ginger nutmeg 1 tablespoon of stir fry oil and celery salt Instructions: ~*First Part*~ 1)Take out a big bowl. 2)Put flour in bowl. 3)Add in water and egg (make sure you crack egg first and do not put eggshell into batter.) 4) Stir with a wooden spoon until batter is smooth 5)Carefully use a knife to dice onion and chop vegetables. 6)Add onion and vegetable to batter and stur. 7)Add in a dash of spices. ~*Second Part*~ 8)Put oil into pan. 9)Place pan on stove and turn stove onto high heat. 10)Cut chicken into thin, one inch strips. 11)Allow oil to heat. 12)Place the chicken into pan and cook until meat is well done. 13)Add product of the first part to the batter of the second part! 14)Pour batter into pan. 15) You may flip the okonamiyaki when the underside is a light golden brown. 16)Cook the otherside until done. 17)Take cooked okonamiyaki out of pan and put onto a plate. 18)Divide it into slices. (if you wish) 19)Pour on a small amount of soy sauce. 20)Open mouth and eat ^_~ ~*Sweet Sake Sauce!*~ There are many sauces you can make to go with Okonomiyaki. Sweet Sake Sauce is one of the best! ^_^ Ingredients: 2/3 cups Sake 1/3 cup Mirin 1/3 cup Shoyu 1/3 cup white sugar 3 tablespoons of grated fresh ginger 2 tablespoons of Su 2 whole takano tjume crushed Instructions 1)Grab a saucepan. 2)Heat up the Sake, Mirin, Shoyu, and Su in the pan. 3)When it is nearly boiling add the sugar and stir it until it is dissolved. 4)Slightly reduce the heat and add the ginger and takano tjume. 5)Let it simmer for one hour or until the sauce is 2/3s of its original volume. 6)Strain and cool it. 7)Serve in a Shoyu dish. (If you have it)
